The 4th of July is a busy day and we start early waiting for the parade. Cake pops and other Starbucks goodies help us while we wait. The kids have fun going on walks with grandpa T to look at Fire trucks or Hummers. Then the parade start and we wave our flags and watch all the different floats go by and of coarse collect all the candy, water bottles and Frisbees we can.
Grandpa ticked the kids telling them the tickle bug was coming , lots of giggles from Payton and Logan.
Logan sat with Grandma during the parade and ate his snacks
She had to pet this dog because it is Barbara’s favorite kind of dog. It was sweet, even Logan was ok with the little dachshund.
The big bubbles this guy made were so much fun and they were amazing.
After lunch and a little rest time at home we headed down to Grandma and grandpa V’s house for a family barbeque. The kids had fun with grandpa on the swing while we waited for food to cook. They also played with the cars and wagon outside. Then it started getting cold so inside for dessert and a little piano concert by Payton ( Logan and Isla helped too)
Logan was telling grandpa about the parade.
Isla gave Logan lots of hugs and kept pulling Payton back because she didn’t want her to go.
Grandma walk us to the car to say good bye. The kids were so tired, Logan fell asleep on the ride home. It was a fun day!
