Last Tuesday we met my parents at the Evergreen State fair in Monroe. I thought the kids would love the pig races and animals and Payton would love the rides.
The first thing we did was watch the pig races, Payton thought it was fun and talked about the pigs racing days after. Especially the pig who was supposed to do the hurdles for training and went through a secret door. We cheered for our pig in the final round ( two semifinals with 4 pigs each the top two moved on ) Strawberry our pig won, it was fun.

Next we went to find the kiddie rides for Payton. She was excited to ride some of them. First was a train then the car ride where she picked the Taxi to drive. I loved these rides when I was a kid and it was fun to see her having fun while Logan looked on, maybe next year he can go too.

Next was the carousel, she really wanted the cat but the other animals filled up and she got a horse who she named Payton, she had a ton of fun.
Then she wanted to go on the Shrek fun house but she couldn’t go by herself so grandpa went, they had a good time and grandpa got a workout. Then he got to ride on the carousel with Payton this time she got the cat and she was SO happy!
She also rode on a yellow Harley Davison motor cycle on the motor cycle ride which went up and down. She had fun riding it if you can’t tell my all of her funny faces and smiles.
They had a great time at the fair.. next post I will talk about the animals – Logan LOVED them!
