The Nth of July ( our fun 4th)

I am not sure why but Payton started calling the 4th of July the Nth of July and she could not have been more excited about this holiday.
That morning we went to the Pancake breakfast at the Bothell fire station. Who doesn’t love free pancakes and and chance to check out the Fire Engines. They also had fun crafts and face painting for kids too.

Then we headed home for a quick stop and then on to Edmonds to meet Grandma and Grandpa Tucker to watch the parade. We had a little time to waste before so Kevin and I got coffee and came back to kids with bubbles and other goodies. Payton had fun blowing bubbles with Grandpa and both kids took walks with him to see the different floats setting up. Then we had fun watching the exciting parade. Logan didn’t like the loud noises but the rest was exciting for him. Payton had fun gathering up the candy and treats thrown at her and she got a bag full of goodies.

After a little rest time we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Verver’s house for a BBQ and playing out side. Then we went home to watch fireworks on TV with the kids since they needed to get to bed.
