A new park adventure

Today we took a little adventure to a park I had been wanting to check out since it had a spray park that looked fun and it was named Willis D.Tucker Park – we just had to go. So we took a detour to the park before out trip to the store. The park in in a beautiful location and I love that there is tons of parking. I also love that the park is not close to a street but back sort of hidden away ( I didn’t know where to park and went the wrong way since I couldn’t see it). It was busy because there was a group of school kids there and a boot camp class going on but it was a fun park the only thing it was missing was a good slide. The kids had fun on the merry-go-round and the teeter totters ( which I have no been on I a long time either and these were some teeter totters one were you could fit 4 people) Payton had a blast running around to all the different things. The spray park was not working but I am sure it is fun when it is and probably busy. I learned that this park has a Farmer’s Market on Fridays and also has Movies in the park – how cool is that. It also has a walking path and other things that would be fun to explore.

One the way home I told Payton we would look at our pictures and she asked if I took a picture of God. I love these random thought and questions. I told her no but really all of creation is God's and we are made in his image so in some ways yes I did.
We had a blast< sometimes the best adventures are those you don’t plan. We will definitely go back , maybe get a little wet next time.

Old Navy Swimwear is Fantastic!

Today I went to Old Navy to try on swim suits as part of the sample share I am doing . It was a lot of fun to try on different swim suit styles and pick a new suit. I had a few little helpers who were quite vocal in which suits they like – The blue one was Payton’s choice but definitely not for me. I tried a few one pieces , and I found I really like the control max tab back that I tried on. I also want to try the control max twist front and halter but had a hard time finding them in my size. I really loved how it held everything in and looked good too.


I ended up going with a tankini halter in posh purple neon with black boy shorts. I was hoping for the cute navy polka dot boy shorts but the black are good too. I chose this suit because I could mix and match it with tops and bottoms I already have. It was a lot of fun and I was surprised that I really liked some of the one pieces I tried on.

Fountains of Youth

This past week we have seen many fountains on trips to different malls. Logan LOVES them and Payton does too, just something about water flowing or shooting out that gets them excited. At the outlet mall Logan was nodding his head yes and taking of his jacket some older lady’s walked by and said oh he wants to go in, that he did.

Early in the week we went to have Frozen Yogurt at the Red Mango at Alderwood. They loved this fountain the best because it shot the water out and it was fun to watch.

Later in the week we went to the Seattle Premium Outlets and did shopping and they loved this fountain the one he wanted to climb in to play.

Malls and outlet malls are so much fun now that he can walk. They also loved to play on the different co-op rides , Payton really wanted to sit on the horse but another little girl was on it.
