Today you turned four years old but to me it seems like just yesterday I was meeting you for the first time. People always tell you that it goes by so fast and it really does. You have grown so much this past year and become a confident, funny , independent, sweet girl . You have added big sister to the titles you hold and done it with grace and a sense of humor.Logan adores you and I know you adore him too. You have ridden on planes , boats, trains and even a pony. You even told me once that you were going to take my car and drive to Costco by yourself. Payton you have grown so much this year and I am amazed at how brave and big you are getting. Trying new things and having so much fun doing it. I love seeing you try new things and hearing you squeal with delight.You have the best imagination and I love to see and hear what you come up with when you play. I sometimes imagine what you will be when you grow up, if you will sing or dance or entertain some how or if you will do something completely different. Whatever you do you will do it well and with all that you have.
I am so grateful that God chose me to be your mommy. I have learned so much from you and I love being with you. Sometimes I get frustrated when you don’t want to listen but I know you are just learning to be your own person and make your own choices. Thank you for teaching me to be patience and to slow down , to see how amazing things are , thank you for teaching me it is ok to take a break to play or just to be silly -the work will always be there later. I can’t wait to see what fun adventures we will have this year and what new things you will learn. Always remember you can do anything you set your mind to, you are amazing. I am blessed to have you in my life and call you my daughter.
